Additionally, the natural attractions around Dubrovnik are at their best in spring, and you can even enjoy a swim in the sea. Keep in mind that in March and April, although the weather is mild, many museums and monuments have shorter opening hours, and most boat tours and water activities don’t begin operating until May. Autumn is also a great time to visit, with pleasant temperatures and plenty of sunshine still lingering.
In general, we don't recommend visiting Dubrovnik in the winter, since the tourism season is at its lowest, and it's difficult to find operating tours or visits around the city. In addition, many shops and restaurants remain closed between November and February.
