Dubrovnik Currency
The official currency of Dubrovnik is the Euro (EUR) as of early 2023. Previously, the country's currency was the Croatian kuna (HKR).
Cash or Card?
You can pay by card at almost all establishments in Dubrovnik, both in shops and restaurants. Nonetheless, it's a good idea to have some cash in the local currency just in case.
Exchanging
If you're arriving in Dubrovnik with a different currency than the Euro, you have several options for exchanging at a good rate. Along Stradun you'll find numerous shops that act as exchange houses. They all offer similar exchange rates, but it never hurts to shop around before exchanging.
The most advisable option is to withdraw money from an ATM.
