Business Hours in Dubrovnik
Shops and restaurants in the walled city of Dubrovnik have very similar opening hours to the rest southern of Europe in spring and summer. In winter, shops usually close earlier.
Shops
Shops inside the walled city of Dubrovnik are open all day. From souvenir shops to more specialised shops, like bookshops, clothes and jewellery shops, you'll find they stay open all day. During peak season, shops open at 9 am and close between 9 and 10 pm.
In the colder months, due to the lack of tourists, shops are often open fewer hours during the day.
Restaurants
Restaurants in Dubrovnik start serving breakfast between 7 and 7:30 am. Starting at 12 pm you can find restaurants serving lunch, but dinner isn't usually served until about 10 pm. The terraces in the walled city are open until midnight in the summer, so you won't have any trouble finding something to eat during peak season.
Winter Business Hours
When planning your trip to Dubrovnik, please be aware that the city slows down in off season. Many restaurants and shops close from November to March, and museums are open fewer hours during the day.
